It can be placed over the surface of the soil as a mulch to be worked into the soil by the worms, or it can be mixed into the very top layer of the soil when planting. The liquid is Ph neutral, so if you dilute it with rainwater to make it slightly acidic it can also be used to feed acidic loving plants. The feed can be used for outdoor and indoor plants, making it a very versatile product.
